Description

DLC Landscape Services, creates beautiful landscapes and provides dependable care. We are looking for full-time Landscape Labourers to join our lawn maintenance, garden, and construction teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a hardworking crew.

Landscape Labourers support the Crew Chief with daily tasks such as mowing, gardening, seasonal clean-ups, and landscape construction projects.

What you’ll do

  • Learn landscaping, gardening, and/or construction techniques under the guidance of a Crew Chief
  • Assist with daily maintenance tasks on residential and commercial properties
  • Use landscaping tools and equipment such as:
  • push lawn mowers
  • hedge trimmers
  • pruners
  • backpack blowers
  • trimmers
  • Support construction projects such as:
  • stonework and masonry
  • bricklaying
  • paving stone (pave-uni) installation
  • cement forming, pouring, and parging
  • carpentry
  • large tree planting
  • Follow safety procedures and properly use safety equipment at all times
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

What we’re looking for

  • Strong physical condition and ability to work outdoors up to 10 hours/day
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Landscaping, horticulture, or construction experience is an asset (but not required)
  • Comfortable working in French and/or English
