Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing food preparation and cooking processes, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations to provide an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure quality and consistency
  • Manage food handling procedures in compliance with safety standards and regulations
  • Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control
  • Enforce food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and cleanliness of the kitchen area
  • Collaboration with Senior Management and staff to help shape future menu development and ensure adherence to recipes and presentation standards
  • Monitor restaurant operations to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction
  • Lead team meetings, conduct interviews, and foster a positive work environment
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure high levels of hospitality

Experience

  • Proven restaurant management experience with a strong background in food industry operations
  • Extensive food service experience, including food preparation, cooking, and serving
  • Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience with hotel or barista environments is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality service standards

Pay: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
