Position Title: Dishwasher

Location: Durty Nelly's, Halifax, NS

Job type: Full-time, Part-time

Salary Range: $16.75-17.25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Description

Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax is looking for dishwashers to join our team at Durty Nelly's. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join our kitchen teams. With core values focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve, we are looking for like-minded individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Properly wash and sort dishes
  • Set-up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
  • Maintaining inventory for cleaning and sanitizing products and communicate to Management
  • Maintain the kitchen, workrooms, storerooms and equipment for cleanliness and order
  • Responsible for proper disposal of venue waste
  • Be an integral part of the Legendary guest experience

About you

  • 1+ years experience an asset
  • Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic

Work Environment

  • Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

Work Authorization

  • Must be authorized to legally work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.75-$17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week

Experience:

  • Dishwashing: 1 year (preferred)
