Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide personalized care and support to children or individuals with disabilities in a home setting. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing assistance, fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong caregiving skills, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others. This position requires living on-site to ensure continuous support and supervision.

Duties

  • Provide daily care and assistance tailored to the needs of children or individuals with disabilities, including personal hygiene, medication management, and mobility support
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning, development, and well-being
  • Assist with educational activities, including classroom-like instruction or tutoring for children
  • Monitor health and safety conditions within the home environment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary requirements
  • Maintain a clean and organized living space to promote comfort and safety
  • Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to foster independence and confidence
  • Collaborate with family members or healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and report on progress or concerns

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, including caregiving or classroom experience preferred
  • Strong background in early childhood education or teaching is advantageous
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive nature with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Flexibility to live on-site as part of the caregiving arrangement
  • Prior experience working with individuals with special needs is desirable
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and committed to providing high-quality care at all times
