Full job description

House assistant and personal support worker required for elderly couple who are still living in their own home. Your duties will include personal support work as well as general activities associated with running a household, including but not limited to: meal preparation, laundry, cleaning (including kitchen, bathrooms, etc.), organizing the home, errands (eg. grocery, etc.), and other household tasks. Candidate will also be expected to help the couple in terms of how to use internet, computer, iPads, TV, etc. Hours may vary and can be discussed on hire/interview but the ideal candidate would be available early in the morning to assist with care and may need to return in the late afternoon/evening again as well. Couple is independent in many aspects of self care but some personal care help is required at present. References required. Fluency in Hindi or Punjabi would be an asset but not required. Home is located in Sarnia, Ontario. Apply by sending resume and cover letter.
