Fort Nelson, located in the northernmost reaches of the Rocky Mountains, has magnificent scenery and landscapes. The main industries are forestry, natural gas, transportation and tourism. The population is approximately 3,370. There are now three elementary schools and one secondary school. Fort Nelson is a charming and friendly community with genuine personality. Northern Health is seeking family practice emergency doctors to assist in Fort Nelson, British Columbia.

Qualifications:
  • Eligible for full or provisional family medicine license with CPSBC
  • Emergency experience
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support Certification (ATLS)
  • Eligible for full license with CPSBC
  • Medical degree
Call Schedule:

Hours of work: No Details
On call requirements: 8 am to 8 am (24 hour shift)

Compensation:
Estimated Gross Income

$1,628 minimum guarenteed income per 24 hour shift.
