Full job description

We are seeking a competent and customer-focused Restaurant Server/Beverage Cart Attendant to join our Golf Course restaurant team.

In this role, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, collaborating with colleagues, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
  • Attend to customers upon entrance and provide a warm welcome.
  • Present menus and assist customers in selecting food and beverages.
  • Take and serve orders, addressing any questions or making recommendations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other restaurant servers, as well as kitchen and bar staff.
  • Handle customer complaints or problems with a positive attitude and prompt resolution.
  • Issue bills and accept payments accurately.
  • Promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a customer server/waiter in a restaurant setting.
  • Customer-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Hands-on experience in cashier duties.
  • Excellent people skills, demonstrating a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Responsible and trustworthy with a strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
  • Smart Serve certification (or equivalent alcohol service certification).
  • High school diploma; additional food safety training is considered a plus.
