Full job description

Our client is looking for an independent, reliable School Cafeteria Manager to run the lunch program at a school in the Moncton/Dieppe area.

This is a vital role where you would be serving nutritious meals to students from primary through high school. They need someone who can start immediately.

You must have experience in commercial kitchens or formal culinary training to be considered for this role.

What We Offer

  • $19.25 an hour
  • Full-time, Permanent
  • Monday – Friday
  • 8am – 2pm/3pm
  • Immediate Start
What You'll Do

  • Prepare, cook, and serve daily lunch for ~100 students
  • Follow recipe guides, schedules, and food safety expectations
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
  • Monitor food stock and place orders as needed to ensure freshness
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations
  • Work independently and efficiently
What We're Looking For

  • Experience in commercial kitchens or formal culinary training is required
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable preparing meals at scale
  • Clean criminal record (must be eligible to work around children)
  • Basic computer use for ordering and communication (training provided)
  • Bilingualism is an asset, not a requirement
  • WHMIS not required but considered an asset
