Position: Dozer Operator

About Arnason Industries Ltd.

Arnason Industries Ltd. is one of the leading general contractors in Manitoba servicing heavy construction from small to large projects. Our organization has a strong reputation for successfully installing water and sewer infrastructure including construction of water and sewage treatment facilities, crushing and road construction in large portion of Northern Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Field Superintendent, the Dozer Operator will be responsible to safely and efficiently operate bulldozers to perform earthmoving, grading, and site‑preparation work on civil construction projects. This position is in remote locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate the dozer in a safe and efficient manner, following site plans and supervisor instructions
  • Conduct pre-operational checks – fluids & hoses
  • Read and follow grade stakes, laser levels, or GPS systems
  • Perform rough and finish grading to design elevations and slopes
  • Cut, fill, and spread material according to site plans
  • Maintain accurate daily logs
  • Adhere to all provincial and company safety protocols

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
  • Minimum 2 years experience operating dozers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting
  • Must be available to work during the day, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays

Job Type: Full Time

Wage: $25 to $30 per hour dependent on qualifications and experience

License: Driver’s License is required

Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay
