Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide high-quality, personalized care to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about assisting others, especially seniors and those with disabilities, in maintaining their independence and quality of life. The caregiver will deliver essential support with daily activities, health management, and emotional companionship, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Duties

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being and social interaction
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
  • Assist with specialized care needs such as dementia care, hospice support, or working with people with disabilities

Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in caregiving roles such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings. Experience working with seniors or individuals requiring dementia or hospice care is highly valued. Knowledge of medication administration, patient care protocols, and basic nursing skills is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate patience, compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting. Prior experience in caregiving for individuals with disabilities or chronic health conditions will be considered an asset.

Job Types: Permanent, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
