Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Clinical Assistant, where your dedication to patient care and medical support will make a meaningful difference. In this vital role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth clinical operations, provide compassionate patient assistance, and uphold high standards of safety and hygiene. Responsibilities

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments to ensure efficient clinical flow.Eg Vaccine and IM Injections
  • Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment, arranging supplies, and ensuring a clean environment for patient care.
  • Support patient care activities by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and documenting relevant information accurately.
  • Administer medications under supervision, following strict protocols and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of medical terminology to accurately communicate and record clinical information.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, follow-up schedules, and assist with administrative tasks to streamline clinic operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by adhering to infection control procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards.
  • Front staff administrative duties also included -booking appointments and sending referrals

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of patient care practices and medical terminology.
  • Experience with medication administration and handling medical supplies is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Certification or training in basic life support (BLS) or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Portuguese or Italian is an added advantage
