EXPERIENCED MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT – FULL-TIME

Family Medicine Practice | Immediate Opening

Adanac Family Medicine is seeking an experienced and highly professional Medical Office Assistant for a busy Family Medicine practice.

This position is intended for candidates with established experience in a medical office environment who are confident working independently in a fast-paced clinical setting. Applicants must possess excellent judgment, reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to patient care and workplace excellence.

Applicants will only be considered if they meet the following essential qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a Family Medicine or medical office setting
  • Strong working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Experience with medical reception, scheduling, patient communication, and administrative responsibilities
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to accurately follow and communicate medical office instructions and procedures
  • Professional, mature, dependable, and team-oriented work ethic
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence
  • Must currently reside within the Niagara Region. (This position is open only to candidates presently living within the Niagara Region).

This is not an entry-level position. Only applicants with relevant medical office experience and demonstrated qualifications will be considered.
