LightHouse Dental in Kingston, Ontario is seeking exceptional individuals to join our team of dental professionals.

We are currently looking for a Dental Receptionist and Patient Care Coordinator to become part of our fast-growing family dental practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a positive and supportive environment with a team that is committed to excellence.

The ideal candidate should have a vibrant personality, be professional, reliable, and passionate about delivering exceptional service. They should take pride in their work and that of their team members, and most importantly, provide a "WOW" experience for our patients. The successful candidate should be able to deliver professional customer service in person and over the phone in a cheerful manner.

Key Duties

  • Create a positive and memorable experience for patients, starting from their arrival until their departure
  • Optimize the appointment schedule by filling the day with limited gaps
  • Handle all patient calls and inquiries professionally, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, and changes
  • Manage potential cancellations by addressing patient concerns and encouraging them to keep their appointments
  • Handle patient billing and payment processing, including sending claim forms to insurance and responding to fee inquiries
  • Accurately maintain the patient database and manage the recall system effectively
  • Process referral letters and other patient correspondence in a timely manner
  • Manage patient records and charts by organizing and filing them appropriately.
