Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration, particularly within medical or dental environments. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, managing patient interactions, and maintaining accurate records. The Administrator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support both the front desk and overall administrative functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering inquiries.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments and provide information.
  • Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Utilize software such as Epic and Dentrix for patient management and billing processes.
  • Assist with medical terminology to ensure effective communication with patients and staff.
  • Support administrative functions such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with dental or medical staff to facilitate patient care and office efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and office policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in using Epic, Dentrix, or similar software is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology to assist in patient interactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in an administrative role is beneficial.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for this position.
