About Us

We are a busy full-service dermatology practice in Richmond Hill, ON, dedicated to providing exceptional patient care alongside a growing clinical research program. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Contract Senior Research Coordinator to support our clinical trials team.

Position Overview

The Contract Research Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating and supporting dermatology clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, protocol adherence, and high-quality data collection throughout the study lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of clinical research studies, including patient recruitment, screening, and scheduling
  • Assist with informed consent processes and ensure participant understanding of study requirements
  • Maintain accurate and complete source documents and case report forms (CRFs)
  • Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Health Canada regulations, and sponsor protocols
  • Liaise with sponsors, monitors, and the research team to support site visits, audits, and monitoring activities
  • Manage study supplies, drug/device accountability, and regulatory documentation (essential documents, IRB/REB submissions)
  • Support data entry, query resolution, and adverse event reporting
  • Maintain organized and audit-ready regulatory binders and study files
  • Assist with pre-study, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in life sciences, nursing, or a related health field
  • Prior experience in clinical research coordination (dermatology or clinical trial experience is an asset)
  • Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and Health Canada regulatory requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with clinical staff, patients, and external sponsors/monitors
  • Proficiency with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and Microsoft Office
