The perfect fit for our clinic would be someone who:

  • Has a friendly and bubbly demeanour and thrives on personal interaction and communication
  • Has strong computer skills
  • Is a fast learner
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Has proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word and an ability to learn new software quickly
  • Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Has a very high degree of organizational skills
  • Is able to accommodate flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends
  • Works independently and takes initiative
  • Has strong problem solving skills
  • Is in the process of or has completed a University degree or College diploma
  • Experience in a clinic environment is an asset
  • Previous experience with Jane - Practice Management Software is an asset
  • Loves dogs. We have an incredibly cute therapy dog named Sadie at the clinic.

Your duties would include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly, professional and courteous manner
  • Answering phones & email inquiries
  • Processing insurance claims and collecting payments
  • Scheduling patients follow up appointments efficiently
  • Providing information about our services and policies to patients
  • Scanning, faxing and copying of patient documents
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment by completing basic office cleaning, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, tidying shared spaces, and helping ensure the overall space is well cared for.
  • Providing genuine care for patient needs
  • Handling all clinic duties with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Storing electronic patient documents in a confidential manner
  • Assisting practitioners in requested miscellaneous administrative tasks
