Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant
Location: Saskatchewan
Schedule: Casual
Hourly Rate of Pay: $23.50 - $26.50

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Continuing Care Assistants (CCAs) to join our exceptional team in the Saskatchewan Region supporting our rural areas. If you are passionate about providing high-quality personal care and support to clients in home care, long-term care, or acute care. facility settings, we want to hear from you. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the comfort, dignity, and well-being of those in your care. We're ready when you are!

Continuing Care Assistants work in shifts that usually include evenings and weekends, as access to care for patients may be required 24/7.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Support clients with mobility, hygiene, nutrition, and overall well-being.
  • Monitor and report changes in client condition to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment for clients.
  • Follow care plans, infection control protocols, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.

Job Qualifications

  • Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certification from a recognized program.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience providing personal care in healthcare, home care, or long-term care setting is considered an asset.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Physical ability to assist with lifting, transferring, and repositioning clients.
  • Reliable transportation may be required, depending on the assignment.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, client-centered care.

If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
