Full job description

Our team is searching for a Supervisor for an Emergency Receiving Children's Group Home.
The successful applicant will help assist in the development and supervision of the children, and the caregiving team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining team moral and healthy work environment
  • Help in training new caregivers
  • Reviewing and ensuring documentation
  • Liaising with case workers
  • Implement creative activities to assist with Child Development
  • Create a positive & nurturing environment
  • Interact with the children
  • De-escalate behaviors
  • Taking children to appointments
  • Updating child care plans

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Team Player
  • Previous team lead and management experience
  • Basic computer skills

Requirements:

  • CPR & First Aid level C
  • Clean Criminal Record-Vulnerable sector
  • Food Safe
  • WHMIS

Shift Availability:

  • Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm
  • Must be able to work day shift and a weekend day when needed

Bonus Skills:

  • PART Certificate
  • MANDT Certificate
  • Medication Administration Certificate
  • Management experience

Benefits available after 3 months, eligible for yearly bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
