Overview:
We are seeking reliable Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to various locations while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach. We are looking for Full-Time, Part-time & on Call availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport products to customer locations in a timely manner
  • Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
  • Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Ensure all paperwork related to deliveries is completed accurately and on time
  • Be the face of the company, providing the best customer experience.
  • Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
  • Drive company fully equipped van bringing products to different stores and homes locally. providing exceptional customer-first service.
  • Load and unload the Van by yourself with the use of a dolly and by hand.
  • Deliver products within assigned route schedule and time windows.
  • Immediately inform dispatchers of any deviations from the route.
  • Verify delivery of orders with Stores and or Customer and obtain proper signatures.
  • Performs additional duties as required. other warehousing or distribution-related duties as required or assigned.
  • Punctual and reliable for regular shifts.
  • Work in synergy with other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; adapt to change, and work under pressure.
  • Operate the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
  • Maintaining delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate delivery vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong attention to details

Required Skills:

  • A previous delivery driving experience is required
  • Full Class 5 drivers license with clean abstract
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs
  • Positive attitude and great people skills
  • Has great attention to detail
  • Embodies quality, safety, and customer service
  • Good understanding of the roads in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. The ability to comfortably drive around, in all types of weather, displaying excellent driving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude
  • The ability to use a smartphone and operate Google Maps.
  • Post-secondary education in a related discipline is an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. continuously
  • Regular full attendance is an essential function of the job. The schedule might change depending on needs.
  • Reliable, accountable and trust-worthy
  • Safety footwear (Steel-Toes) is a requirement.
