Stress Engineer - Onsite Engineer / Coordinator

Must Have Skills : Aero/Stress Analysis/Catia

Position Summary

Acts as the key bridge between client engineering teams and offshore delivery teams for aircraft structural design and stress activities, ensuring seamless coordination, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, materials, and load paths
  • Understanding of stress analysis fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • CATIA (mandatory)
  • ENOVIA
  • GD&T and drawing standards

Core Responsibilities

1. Client Coordination

  • Act as SPOC for client structural teams
  • Coordinate with Design, Stress, MRB, and Manufacturing teams
  • Translate client requirements to offshore teams
  • Participate in design reviews and program discussions

2. Structural Design & Stress Coordination

  • Support development of aircraft structures (fuselage, wing, empennage, interiors)
  • Ensure compliance with FAR/CS regulations and OEM standards (ABD, BAC, etc.)
  • Review:
  • 2D drawings & 3D models
  • Stress analysis reports
  • Modifications and concessions
  • Execute tasks independently when required
  • Support ENOVIA activities (upload/download/link creation)

3. Tools & PLM

  • Work with CATIA (V5/V6), ENOVIA, Teamcenter
  • Ensure data integrity, version control, and release processes
  • Resolve CAD/PLM-related issues

4. Change Management & MRB

  • Manage ECR/ECO changes
  • Support MRB activities (Use-As-Is, Repair, Rework)
  • Ensure closure of design and shop-floor issues

5. Manufacturing Support

  • Interface with manufacturing teams
  • Handle concessions and deviations
  • Ensure design manufacturability

6. Project Tracking

  • Track deliverables, timelines, and milestones
  • Identify risks and dependencies
  • Provide regular status updates

7. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to aerospace quality standards
  • Support audits and design reviews
  • Maintain documentation and configuration control

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
