Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent patient care skills. The position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on delivering high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate X-ray equipment accurately to produce clear diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.
  • Follow established safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures performed.
  • Assist with the maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to review images for quality and clarity before finalizing reports.
  • Adhere to all healthcare regulations, privacy policies, and safety standards related to medical imaging.

Qualifications

  • Certification or licensure as an X-Ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist is required.
  • Must have current CMRITO registration
  • Graduate of an approved program in Radiological Technology
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
  • Prior experience in diagnostic imaging is preferred .
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions are critical.
  • Excellent team-building and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
