Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Truck Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of delicious menu items in a fast-paced food truck environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent food handling skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while providing exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the food preparation area
  • Serve customers promptly and accurately, ensuring a positive dining experience
  • Assist with food presentation and portion control to ensure quality standards are met
  • Manage food inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and workstations regularly

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation.
  • Background in restaurant or kitchen environments.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential
  • Experience working in the food industry, particularly in meal preparation or mobile food services, is a plus
  • Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
