Join Our Team: Canvass Leader Opportunity at NutraFarms

About NutraFarms:
NutraFarms is proud to stand at the forefront of Ontario's local food movement. We are a dynamic company committed to supporting our local farmers and providing communities with fresh, high-quality farm-to-table products. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the hardworking farmers of Ontario and consumers who value nutritious, locally sourced food. By joining our team, you become a vital part of a system that supports sustainable farming practices and contributes to a healthier planet.

We Are Looking For:
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Canvass Leader who’s ready to take their career to the next level with a company that truly makes an impact.

This is a hands-on leadership role that includes door-to-door canvassing—connecting directly with homeowners, building relationships, and helping families learn about the benefits of supporting local farms. If you enjoy being out in the field, leading by example, and creating real conversations, this is a great fit.

We’re searching for someone who not only excels in canvassing but also has the leadership skills to inspire, coach, and guide a team to success. You’ll play a key role in developing others while driving results.

If you have a genuine passion for promoting local farming, sustainable food sources, and supporting small family farms, we want you on our team. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to grow your career while making a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of canvassers to engage with the community and effectively communicate the value of supporting local farmers through NutraFarms.
  • Plan and execute canvassing strategies that effectively reach target audiences and achieve campaign goals.
  • Train new team members in canvassing techniques and knowledge about our farmers and products.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to ensure high levels of productivity and engagement.
  • Represent NutraFarms and our farmers professionally and ethically at all times, fostering positive relationships within the community.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to align canvassing efforts with broader promotional campaigns.
  • Report on team performance, campaign progress, and market feedback to senior management, providing insights for continuous improvement.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses and incentives.
  • Comprehensive company health benefits for eligible employees.
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement within a rapidly growing organization.
  • Comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and leadership development.
  • A supportive, team-oriented work environment where your contributions are recognized.
  • The opportunity to work closely with local Ontario farmers while making a positive impact in your community.
  • The satisfaction of promoting healthy, locally sourced food and supporting sustainable agriculture.
  • An established team of pre-trained canvassers ready to be led and developed—allowing you to focus on coaching, leadership, and driving results rather than recruiting from scratch.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in canvassing and team leadership, with a demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire both team members and the public.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for local food movements, sustainability, and community engagement.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable personal vehicle. The successful candidate must be able to commute from the office to designated marketing areas on a daily basis.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required to meet campaign objectives..

How to Apply:
If you're ready to lead a team that makes a real impact, we want to hear from you. Please reply to this email explaining why you're the perfect fit for the Canvass Leader position at NutraFarms.

Join us in our mission to support Ontario's farmers and bring fresh, local food to tables across the province. We look forward to welcoming you to the NutraFarms family!

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
