Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French baking, with significant experience in the preparation and baking of croissants and Danish pastries.

As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that meet our standards for taste, consistency, and presentation. This role is essential in delivering exceptional products and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, laminate dough, and bake a variety of products, including croissants, breads, and French-style Danish pastries
  • Decorate baked items to enhance visual appeal in line with Tartelette standards
  • Follow Tartelette recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards
  • Display baked goods in showcases, ensuring proper presentation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory and baking supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service when required by engaging with customers and addressing their needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in croissant and pastry production
  • Strong knowledge of French pastry techniques, especially croissants and laminated doughs
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Proficiency in food handling techniques
  • Strong skills in decorating and presentation
