Job description

Falesca is a family owned and operated food importer and distributor servicing Western Canada since 1965. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team.

Job Summary

Role Responsibilities & Duties

  • Handle stock carefully and properly to prevent damage.
  • Pick orders and prepare pallets for delivery.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation procedures.
  • Lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Receive freight, including unloading 40-foot containers, and verify the quantity and quality of incoming shipments.
  • Count, organize, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Efficiently use handheld scanners and warehouse systems to verify order accuracy.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

  • Forklift certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
  • CSA-approved safety footwear is required.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Post-secondary students are welcome to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting wage: $20/hour
