At Donalda Club, exceptional service starts with strong, engaged leadership. We are committed to creating memorable experiences for our members and guests by supporting our employees with the coaching, resources, and encouragement they need to perform at their best.
We are seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor who is passionate about hospitality and committed to service excellence. This hands-on role is ideal for an approachable, people-focused leader who enjoys observing service, coaching employees in the moment, strengthening teamwork, and setting a positive example during every shift.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be a visible presence in our Food & Beverage operation, actively observing service and coaching servers and bartenders to consistently deliver attentive, personalized service. You will provide ongoing guidance and feedback, anticipate member and guest needs, and resolve service challenges with professionalism and care. You will lead by example and, when needed, step into service to support the team, while remaining focused on helping employees develop the skills, confidence, and awareness to deliver exceptional service themselves. The successful candidate will be dependable, proactive, and dedicated to consistently delivering the warm, personalized service expected at Donalda Club.
An Overview of your Main duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively observe servers and bartenders during service, identifying opportunities to improve attentiveness, efficiency, teamwork, product knowledge, and the overall member experience. Provide timely, practical coaching, and ongoing feedback during and after service to strengthen service skills, build confidence, and support each team member’s development.
  • Lead, support, and motivate service staff, fostering a positive, accountable, and service-focused team culture.
  • Conduct engaging pre-shift meetings to communicate daily priorities, menu features, club events, member needs, and service expectations.
  • Lead by example through a visible, hands-on approach, demonstrating Donalda Club’s service standards and stepping into service when needed to support the team and member experience.
  • Ensure members and guests receive exceptional service, exceeding expectations.
  • Oversee daily service operations, ensuring seamless kitchen and staff coordination.
  • Supervise table settings, cleanliness, and ambiance to maintain Donalda Club’s high standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and service issues professionally, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Monitor reservation management, ensuring special requests (dietary, seating preferences) are accommodated.
  • Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and club policies.
  • Assist in inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels for beverages, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manage revenue and expense control procedures, working closely with the Food & Beverage management team.
  • Support event execution, working alongside catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless functions.
  • Conduct safety inspections, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in food & beverage or hospitality.
  • Strong communication and people management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in private clubs, fine dining, or event catering

Certifications:

  • Smart Serve Certification (Required)
  • First Aid & CPR Certification (Preferred)

What You’ll Enjoy as Part of Our Team:

  • Enjoy complimentary staff meals during your workday (taxable benefit).
  • Take advantage of complimentary on-site parking.
  • Support your well-being with a Wellness Spending Account.
  • Recharge with paid sick and wellness days, plus vacation in accordance with Club policy.
  • Build your future with medical and pension benefits.
