Full job description

Welcome to MJ Landscapers, one of the fastest-growing landscaping companies in the GTA.

As a flyer distributor, you are the front line of our marketing. This is a simple, active role that directly contributes to generating new business.

About the Role

You will be responsible for distributing flyers in one designated neighbourhood in Oakville or Burlington. (Example: Bronte to Lakeshore to Fourth Line to Speers Road).

Responsibilities:

  • Walk assigned neighbourhoods and place flyers on door handles
  • Plan an efficient walking route within your area
  • Track progress using a mobile app
  • Complete a short Google form at the end of each shift

Distribution continues from where you last left off until the neighbourhood is complete.

Schedule & Commitment

  • Minimum 5 days per week required
  • 2–3 hours per shift (maximum 3 hours per distribution due to physical demand)
  • 14+ hours per week minimum

You choose your start and end times.

Pay & Employment Type

  • $20 per hour
  • Independent contractor position
  • Paid based on tracked hours and completed distributions

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive to your assigned neighbourhood
  • Park legally on the street or in public areas
  • Walk door-to-door distributing flyers
  • Listen to music or podcasts while getting paid exercise

Ideal Candidate

  • Reliable and self-motivated
  • Comfortable walking for extended periods
  • Has a smartphone (for tracking and reporting)
  • Has access to a vehicle
