Horizon Maritime Services Ltd. is seeking experienced Deck Officers to join our company for project work on the East Coast.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Head of the deck department, commanding or assisting vessel operations in the captain’s absence
  • Assigning crew with specific roles with respect to deck department responsibilities
  • Monitoring that work is carried out safely, efficiently and in compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Watchkeeping Mate
  • Special passenger safety management
  • STCW Basic Safety
  • STCW Survival Crafts and Rescue Boats
  • STCW Advanced Fire Fighting
  • Marine Basic First Aid
  • Marine Medical
