Management in Edmonton fails at all levels. When approached about an issu they say “we’ll get back to you”. But never do! So what they’re really saying is stop bothering me. Trucks are filthy and they say there’s nothing we can do about it. “One drivers clean is another drivers dirty”. How about as managers you set what is acceptable. That’s what some other outfits do..... but then again it doesn’t affect them so they don’t care. As long as it doesn’t interfere with their lunch or quitting time cleanliness of trucks isn’t on their radar. Mechanical dependability is another issue that doesn’t interfere with lunch or quitting time. Just very frustrating.
What advice would you give the CEO of Canada Cartage about how to improve the company?
Like most people in this position. They won't listen so your thoughts will always fall on DEAF ears. LoL..
What is the vacation policy like at Canada Cartage? How many vacation days do you get per year?
I am sorry but don't expect anything on that part.
It's very difficult to take a vacation, even for employees with many years of Seniority.
Thorough process consisting of several interviews before a job offer is made, to ensure best cultural fit and to secure top talent.
