Shawarma Team Member (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Shelby’s Shawarma – Hamilton (Near McMaster University)

Shelby’s Shawarma is looking for reliable, energetic, and hardworking team members to join our growing team. Whether you have restaurant experience or are eager to learn, we want people with a positive attitude who take pride in their work.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare fresh, high-quality shawarma and other menu items according to Shelby’s standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming experience for every guest.
  • Accurately process cash, debit, and credit transactions.
  • Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout your shift.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
  • Work efficiently with your teammates during busy periods.
  • Help with opening and closing duties as required.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while representing the Shelby’s brand.

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Reliable, responsible, and punctual—showing up on time is essential.
  • Friendly and enjoys working with customers.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong team player who is willing to help wherever needed.
  • Able to multitask while maintaining quality and cleanliness.
  • Willing to learn and take direction.

Requirements

  • Restaurant or food service experience is an asset but not required—we provide training.
  • Food Handler Certification is an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Availability

We’re hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time positions.

Applicants should be available to work a combination of:

  • Days
  • Evenings
  • Weekends
  • Holidays (when required)

Flexible scheduling is available for the right candidates.
