5 days per week

9:30 am to 3:30 pm

The Role

We're hiring a Washer up/Kitchen Assistant to support our pizzaiolo and back-of-house team. This is a hands-on role for someone who moves with purpose, keeps a tidy station, and wants to learn the craft from people who take pizza seriously.

What You'll Do

  • Sweep and Mop floor and maintain the washrooms
  • Prep ingredients: washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables, proteins, and dough components
  • Assist the pizzaiolo on the line during service
  • Make starters and desserts to recipe and spec
  • Maintain a spotless kitchen: dishes, surfaces, floors, walls, and equipment
  • Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and organize the walk-in and dry storage
  • Move ingredients from storage to the line as needed
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene standards without compromise
  • Lift up to 25 kg comfortably and safely

What We're Looking For

  • Reliable, energetic, and a strong team player
  • Comfortable on your feet for full shifts in a hot, fast-paced kitchen
  • Solid time management and ability to work cleanly under pressure
  • Clear communicator who takes direction well and asks good questions
  • Food Handler Certification is preferred (we'll help you get certified if you don't have it)
  • Prior kitchen experience is a bonus but not required — attitude matters more than résumé
