Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Night-Time Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service during evening hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with health regulations
  • Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during night shifts
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • Provide guest services that promote customer satisfaction and repeat business

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred, especially in serving roles
  • Must hold a valid SMART SERVE + FOOD HANDLING or will obtain one before beginning employment.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FROM 9 PM- 4 AM (sometimes 5 AM) ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT
  • Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage guest interactions effectively
  • Kitchen experience or hospitality background is a plus but not required
  • Must demonstrate good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
