Hiring: Line Cook – Smitty’s Peterborough

We are currently searching for a Line Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment, respects the craft of cooking, and understands that a successful service is built on teamwork and composure.

In our kitchen, every cook is a lead on their own station. You won't just be "following orders"—you will be managing your workflow, maintaining your inventory, and ensuring every plate that leaves the window meets our gold standard.

  • Own the Line: From prep to plating, you are in charge of your station's efficiency, cleanliness, and quality control.
  • Handle the Rush: You have the ability to remain calm, focused, and organized even when the printer is non-stop. You bring stability to the line.
  • Collaborate for Success: You communicate clearly with your teammates. You know that a successful shift is a result of everyone working as one cohesive unit.
  • Maintain Safety: You treat food safety and kitchen hygiene as a fundamental part of your professional identity.
