Full job description

We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Labourers to support daily operations at a busy junkyard and recycling facility in Vancouver. This role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort, move, and organize scrap metal, recyclable materials, and vehicle parts
  • Load and unload materials manually or with equipment assistance
  • Assist with yard clean-up and general site maintenance
  • Dismantle and separate recyclable materials as directed
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and work instructions
  • Support yard operations and assist supervisors with various labour tasks
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous labour, recycling, construction, warehouse, or industrial experience is an asset
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Steel-toe safety boots required
  • Forklift certification is an asset but not required
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Rate:

  • $20/hr
