The Breadalbane Inn is looking for an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our front and back-of-house teams while elevating our service standards, food quality, and team culture.

We're looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, full-service restaurant environment and is passionate about developing people, improving systems, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily restaurant operations with a strong presence on both the floor and in the kitchen.
  • Drive food quality, consistency, and execution by working closely with the culinary team.
  • Develop and implement structured training programs, service standards, and operating procedures.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture.
  • Provide leadership during peak service periods, ensuring smooth operations under pressure.
  • Collaborate with ownership and management to continuously improve operations, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

What We're Looking For

  • Management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
  • Strong kitchen management experience with a solid understanding of food quality, execution, and back-of-house operations.
  • Proven ability to build training systems, develop teams, and implement service standards.
  • A hands-on leadership style—you lead by example and aren't afraid to jump in wherever needed.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective during busy services.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a structured, high-volume full-service restaurant environment is considered a strong asset, whether with a recognized restaurant group or a well-established independent operation.
