SUMMARY OF TASKS

A Production Operator is responsible for the operation and sanitation of highly technical equipment including but not limited to processing and packaging equipment as well as on floor quality control.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operation of Tetra Pak processing equipment and/or downline case packing equipment
  • Follow HACCP and Food Safety requirements
  • Perform basic daily maintenance
  • Sanitation of area and equipment including CIP and chemical handling
  • Quality Control Documentation
  • Data entry and paperwork
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Strong level of commitment and dedication
  • Ability to work well individually or in a team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Food Processing Experience required
  • Pasteurizer and/or UHT Experience considered an asset
  • Tetra Pak Experience considered an asset
  • Forklift Operation considered an asset
  • Must have general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to trouble shoot and/or problems solve
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Job Specific Training to be provided
