Full job description

Oxford College is seeking to hire a full-time experienced Admissions Advisor from within the education sector for its Peterborough Campus. Successful candidates must have excellent customer service and must be outcome-oriented. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to all functions of a full-time admissions representative such as:

  • Handling lead calls/enquiries
  • Booking appointments and consulting with potential candidates for the college
  • Recommending qualified candidates into suitable programs
  • Conduct tours for all clients
  • Enrolment/packaging recommended students and follow up
  • Research and determine if participation in outreach events will benefit increment of student enrolments
  • Establish and maintain relationships with various community members that will benefit in active promotion of the college programs
  • Review and prepare appropriate marketing material to be printed and distributed within the community
  • Promote Refer a Friend program
  • Actively participate in Social Media
  • Participate in College events
  • Produce reports
  • Provide marketing input
  • Participate in Job fairs, trade shows, open houses and other outreach activities related to student recruitment
  • Travel and visit businesses where the college programs can be actively promoted
  • To be present in the colleges Graduation ceremony and share the success of the graduates
  • Maintaining confidentiality of student information is of utmost priority
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
