CBM Ready-Mix is seeking a Technical Services Representative (Student), based in the East Region (Ottawa).

This position is for Students available between May – December 2026.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit job sites, perform ongoing CSA & ASTM concrete and raw materials testing. Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
  • Promotes value added products, collects market and job information
  • Supervises and plan for efficient use of materials and equipment.
  • Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards or procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in Civil Engineering Technician (CET) program, or similar program.
  • Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to perform physical tasks outside
  • Construction field experience would be an asset
  • Valid G2 or G Driver’s license and ability to drive a company prick-up truck
  • 3-year drivers abstract
  • Must be able to lift up 50lbs
