Dispatchers play an integral role in keeping customer satisfaction high by maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor while dispatching On Side Restoration crews to jobs in a timely manner. Knowing who to call, when to call them and what the steps are in the restoration process is all just a regular part of being a Dispatcher.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $50,000-$65,000
  • Salary based on skills, qualifications and experience
  • Annual Performance Incentive Bonus – Percentage of base salary subject to personal and company performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Dispatching crews to save the day when disasters hit.
  • Customer Service – general understanding of water emergencies/claims/schedules.
  • Understanding scope of work and skills needed on a job site.
  • Communicating with property owners/insureds, setting up schedules, dispatching technicians.
  • Scheduling work with property owners.
  • Managing sub-trade schedules.
  • Managing crew mix and on-call availability.
  • Supporting the branch Operations Manager with various administrative tasks.
  • Contributing to achieving certain measurable objectives for the branch.

What You Bring

  • 1+ year experience in scheduling or dispatching
  • Experience in construction and/or restoration is a strong asset.
  • Superior customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Unparalleled organizational skills.
  • Enhanced critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines.
  • Conscientiousness, never leave a task before it’s complete.
  • Curiosity, you’re always asking questions and want to know the rest of the story.
  • Excellent phone and computer skills (MS Office – Word, Excel and Teams), and ability to learn other programs.
  • Excellent communicator with a natural, authentic rapport.
  • Flexibility and versatility.

  • Major Disasters can strike at any time so after hours on-call work may be required when major weather events occur.

  • This role is in-office Monday-Friday 7am-3pm. Are you comfortable with this?
