Step Into Security - Make an Impact

G-Force Security is looking for a motivated and dependable Emergency Alarm Responder to join our team in Kenora, Ontario. In this role, you will respond to alarm calls, conduct property inspections, investigate security incidents, and ensure client sites remain safe and secure. We are seeking a professional who can think quickly, work independently, and provide a prompt, reliable response while protecting people, property, and assets.

Duties:

  • Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency calls at assigned sites.
  • Assess situations upon arrival and take appropriate action to ensure safety and security.
  • Coordinate with emergency services, site personnel, and management when required.
  • Investigate alarm activations and security incidents, documenting findings accurately.
  • Monitor and report potential safety hazards, security concerns, or system malfunctions.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, activity logs, and required documentation.
  • Follow established safety, emergency response, and security procedures at all times.
  • Maintain a professional and calm presence during emergencies and high-pressure situations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required).
  • Valid Full G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract (required).
  • Full availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification is an asset.
  • Previous experience in alarm response, security, or emergency response is an asset.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during emergencies.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and the ability to work independently.
