Full job description

Step Into Security - Make an Impact

G-Force Security is looking for a dependable and alert Emergency Alarm Responder to join our team in Gravenhurst, Ontario. In this role, you will respond to alarm activations, inspect properties, investigate potential security issues, and ensure client sites remain safe and secure. The ideal candidate is reliable, able to make sound decisions under pressure, and committed to delivering prompt, professional emergency response services.

Duties Include:

  • Respond to alarm activations and emergency calls.
  • Investigate alarm activations and security incidents.
  • Assess situations and take appropriate action.
  • Coordinate with emergency services when required.
  • Report safety hazards and security concerns.
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Follow company safety and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain a professional and calm approach during emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required).
  • Valid Full G Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract (required).
  • Full availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification is an asset.
  • Previous experience in alarm response, security, or emergency response is an asset.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions during emergencies.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures and the ability to work independently.
