Full job description

About Hybrid Access Inc.

Hybrid Access is a specialist in rope access and industrial rescue, operating under IRATA and NFPA standards, trusted by major utilities and industrial clients. With capability to supply Medical Transport Centre (MTC) units, purpose-built vehicles deployed with trained medical personnel as a complete, self-contained response package for clients in remote and high-risk industrial sites.

The Role

We're building a roster of advanced medical responders engaged on a contract-to-contract basis to crew our MTC units. You won't be sitting in an ambulance bay waiting for a call. You'll be deployed to site alongside the vehicle, embedded with the client's operation, ready to respond. This is a mission-critical function: when something goes wrong at height, in a confined space, or in a remote location, you and the MTC are the client's first line of definitive medical care until higher-level transport can be arranged.

Engagements are contract-to-contract, aligned to client deployment schedules. Strong performers are first in line for repeat and extended contracts as the MTC programme scales.

What You'll Own

● Provide advanced first aid, emergency medical response, or paramedic-level care on remote and industrial worksites

● Operate and maintain the MTC vehicle and its medical equipment to a fully mission-ready standard

● Safely transport injured workers where required, in line with WorkSafeBC OHS Regulation standards

● Act as the client's on-site medical authority, integrating into their emergency response plan

● Document all incidents and treatments to the standard required for industrial and regulatory review

● Represent Hybrid Access's safety-first culture on every deployment

Required Certification

Must hold one of the following, current and in good standing:

● Advanced First Aid / OFA Level 3, with OFA Transportation Endorsement

● BC EMALB First Responder licence

● BC EMALB Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) licence

● Paramedic licence (PCP, ACP, or equivalent)

If your certification doesn't carry the Transportation Endorsement, we'll support you to obtain it as a condition of contract.

Required Licensing

● Valid BC Class 4 driver's licence (Restricted or Unrestricted)

● Clean driving record

Nice to Have (Not Required)

● BC Class 4 Unrestricted licence

● Search and Rescue (SAR) experience

● Ski patrol experience

● Volunteer firefighter experience

If you've got a background in any of these, it tells us you already understand austere, high-consequence environments. That matters more to us than a longer certification list.

What We Expect From You

● Ownership and accountability. If something goes wrong, you own it, learn from it, and don't repeat it

● Comfort working independently in remote or industrial settings, often far from a hospital

● Physical capability to work in demanding outdoor and industrial environments

● Willingness to travel and deploy on rotation for the duration of each contract

What We Offer

● Competitive contract rates, based on experience and certification level

● A specialist company that leads with expertise, not a generalist staffing agency

● A culture-first environment where growth and accountability go hand in hand

How to Apply

Email your resume, current certifications, driver's abstract, and a cover letter to

hr@hybridaccessinc.com. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.

In your cover letter, address the following:

● Describe a time you had to make a fast decision in a high-pressure environment with limited resources.

● What's your comfort level working independently, without direct supervision, in a remote industrial setting for extended periods?

● Do you currently hold an OFA Transportation Endorsement? If not, are you willing to obtain one as a condition of contract?

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 80.0 per week
