Full-Time EMT Security Guard – Bissett, Manitoba

Location: Bissett, Manitoba
Position: Full-Time Security Guard
Compensation: $19.00–$27.00 per hour
Rotation: 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off

Safety Net Security Ltd., a long-standing division of The Corrado Venture Inc. (CVI) Group of Companies, is seeking reliable, professional, and safety-minded Security Guards to join our team at a remote industrial site in Bissett, Manitoba.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for full-time employment with a consistent 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation, providing a predictable schedule and extended time off between rotations.

Position Responsibilities

Security Guards will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing professional security services at the site. Responsibilities may include:

  • Monitoring and controlling access to the property
  • Conducting regular interior and exterior patrols
  • Monitoring site activity and identifying potential security or safety concerns
  • Responding appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
  • Completing accurate and detailed daily activity and incident reports
  • Enforcing site security procedures and policies
  • Maintaining a professional and visible security presence
  • Communicating effectively with site personnel, management, and emergency services when required
  • Performing other security-related duties as assigned

Schedule & Travel

This position operates on a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation, with both day and night shifts.

For employees travelling from Winnipeg to the worksite:

  • Meals are provided
  • Accommodation is provided while on rotation
  • Travel time between Winnipeg and the site will be compensated at the applicable minimum wage rate

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Valid Manitoba Security Guard Licence – required
  • Valid Full Stage Class 5 Driver’s Licence – required
  • Ability to work both day and night shifts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and conduct
  • Reliable, dependable, and punctual
  • Strong observation and decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • Previous security, industrial, mining, or remote-site experience is considered an asset
