Bravo Target Safety is currently hiring multiple Emergency Rescue Technicians and Rescue Captains in Sherwood Park, Alberta .
Reporting to the Medical Supervisor, this is a full-time, long-term temporary opportunity with an anticipated project duration through August 2028 . The positions follow a 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotational schedule , consisting of 12-hour day and night shifts .
Job Duties:

- Provide rescue standby services in accordance with site emergency response plans
- Respond to on-site rescue and medical emergencies within the scope of Standard First Aid certification
- Assist with patient packaging and transport at the first aid level in coordination with on-site paramedics and emergency medical services
- Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials
- Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required
- Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client
- Complete atmospheric testing, plant sweeps, and first passes in vessels, tanks, and berms as required
- Rig rescue systems for work at heights, confined spaces, and other technical rescue operations
- Assist with hazard assessments, permitting compliance, and rescue planning
- Inspect, maintain, and document rescue and emergency response equipment to ensure operational readiness
- Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and site personnel while promoting a strong safety culture
- Perform other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities for Rescue Captains

- Support the coordination of rescue operations and ensure Bravo Target Safety procedures and client expectations are followed
- Assist with operational readiness, equipment inspections, and training initiatives as required
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment while promoting safe work practices and continuous improvement
Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract
- Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C (or equivalent)
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
- H2S Alive
- High Angle Rope Rescue certification (NFPA, IRATA, SPRAT, or equivalent)
- Confined Space Rescue certification (NFPA or another recognized agency)
- Previous industrial rescue experience is considered an asset
- Fall Protection experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work away from home for extended periods
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing
- Proof of current High Angle and Confined Space Rescue practice logs
