Adamson Systems Engineering is in an exciting phase, expanding our teams across the organization as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation in the professional audio industry. We are hiring for many new positions to keep up with global demand. As a leader in the design and manufacture of premium loudspeaker systems for live sound and installation markets, our name is celebrated by professionals on stages and in venues & theatres in more than sixty countries. This global presence not only reinforces our reputation for delivering exceptional sound experiences but also protects us from any financial risks that may arise from trade barriers in individual markets.

We are currently expanding our team and we are in the process hiring Electronics Technicians, to join an exisiting team of technicians working towards improving the throughput and quality of electronics products produced here in Canada.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose production failures on power electronics and digital circuits
  • Testing and repair of PCB assembly
  • Assemble housings for new QC test fixtures
  • Maintenance of existing test systems including Flying Probe, In Circuit Testing and Functional Test Stations
  • Create and contribute to developing tests plans, tests and fixtures for new products
  • Provide R&D team with feedback on issues/improvements for manufacturing.
  • Review schematics and layouts with Design For Manufacturing (DFM) and Design For Test (DFT) considerations to comply to company guidelines.
  • Analyze test results and make sound conclusions.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of a 3-year college diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with test equipment e.g. oscilloscopes.
  • Knowledge of components and failure mechanisms.
  • Experience in electronics production and repairs is a must.
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electronic technologies e.g. SMT
  • Understanding of Audio, Ethernet, Digital/Analogue circuits.
  • Flying Probe/ICT experience.
  • Software (Powershell, C#, Labview, scripting) experience an advantage.
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Highly motivated individual who is striving for continuous self-improvement.
