Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented eCommerce Coordinator to join our innovative digital marketing team. In this role, you will oversee the management and optimization of our online retail platforms, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for customers worldwide. Your expertise will drive traffic, enhance product visibility, and increase sales through strategic digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of eCommerce operations, digital advertising, and web development tools, contributing to our mission of expanding our online presence and delivering exceptional customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of the Magento 2 back end.
  • Maintain website navigation, CMS pages, banners, and promotional content.
  • Monitor website functionality and troubleshoot issues along with the IT team.
  • Monitor website performance and recommend improvements based on analytics and customer behavior.
  • Assist with promotional campaigns, new product launches, and seasonal website updates.
  • Maintain and update product information within the Product Information Management (PIM) system, including product descriptions, images, datasheets, attributes, URLs, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Build and maintain relationships between related, equivalent, replacement, and upgraded products while assigning relevant industry search terms and product categories.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and external data providers to improve product data quality and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance website functionality and recommend new features or improvements to improve the customer experience.
  • Perform ongoing website testing, identify bugs or issues, and work with IT and development teams to resolve them.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure ERP and eCommerce processes align with day-to-day business requirements.
  • Research and implement SEO best practices to improve website search engine rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research and assign appropriate keywords and tags to products to improve online visibility.
  • Manage the company's social media platforms by sourcing content, publishing posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to customer feedback.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars.
  • Create engaging, accurate, and concise content tailored to target audiences.
  • Perform daily website audits to ensure products are displayed accurately, pricing and content are correct, and merchandising standards are maintained.
  • Ensure featured products and promotional campaigns receive appropriate visibility to maximize customer engagement and sales.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, eCommerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms, preferably Magento 2, Product Information Management (PIM) systems, and digital merchandising.
  • Understanding of SEO principles, keyword optimization, and basic digital marketing practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret website data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and make recommendations to improve online performance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to collaborate across departments
