Job Description :Our Client is looking for a ERP Project Manager (Dynamics AX to Business Central Migration) in Calgary, AB!

Must Have Primary Skills :
    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
    Proven experience managing ERP implementation projects in enterprise environments.
    Strong understanding of ERP business processes such as finance, purchasing, inventory, supply chain, and reporting.
    Experience coordinating data migration, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, and go live activities.
    Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
    Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project,


Nice To Have Secondary Skills :
    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is preferred.
    Experience with Sales Force and ServiceMax, FieldFX is preferred
    PMP certification preferred.

Role Overview

The ERP Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of an ERP migration project from Dynamics AX to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and Sales Force / ServiceMax FieldFX (FX). This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, implementation partners, and business stakeholders to deliver ERP projects that improve financial, operational, inventory, procurement, and reporting processes. The successful candidate will bring strong project leadership, business process understanding, and ERP implementation experience to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities
    Project Leadership: Manage end-to-end ERP projects, including scope, schedule, budget, governance, and stakeholder communications.
    Lead the migration from AX to BC & FX, including discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live readiness.
    Business Process Alignment: Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions.
    Implementation Partner & Vendor Coordination: Work closely with implementation partners, consultants, and third-party vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery.
    Data Migration & Integration Oversight: Coordinate data migration planning, cleansing, validation, and integrations with related business systems.
    Change Management & Training: Support organizational readiness through communication, training coordination, and user adoption planning.
    Risk, Issue & Status Management: Monitor project risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies, and provide regular status reporting to leadership and steering committees.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, IT teams, and end users to align ERP project outcomes with business priorities and adoption goals.
