Our team leverages digital-focused strategies to provide members with fast, easy and thoughtful benefits experiences. To put it simply, we provide group benefits plans, but we’re a technology company first. You are analytical and detail-oriented, with strong critical thinking and documentation skills. You communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners and are comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines. You work collaboratively, take ownership of your work and look for opportunities to improve processes and support the broader underwriting team.

• Analyze new business opportunities to evaluate risk and determine appropriate underwriting approaches.

• Prepare and document proposals for new and renewal business.

• Prepare renewal packages for small to medium-sized groups.

• Strong understanding of group benefits underwriting principles and contract language.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Experience creating proposals for external audiences is preferred.

• GBA designation is preferred.

• Opportunity to work on complex and meaningful underwriting opportunities.

• Unique ability to apply an underwriting skill set in a Third-Party Provider environment.

• Collaborative team environment with strong carrier relationships.
