Job Overview

The Adam Dental Clinic has been a reputable and established practice in the Northwest Territories for over 40 years. We provide comprehensive dental care to patients in Yellowknife and throughout the region. Located on the north shore of Great Slave Lake, Yellowknife offers stunning views of the northern lights during fall and winter and is an ideal environment for outdoor enthusiasts.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

- Full-time, permanent Associate Dentist in a well-respected, long-established, and modern dental clinic in Yellowknife.

- The practice is equipped with a dedicated dental assistant and a comprehensive backup dental team within a chartless clinic.

- The position offers a busy schedule with bookings secured months in advance and the potential for high income, with a majority of patients holding insurance.

- Onsite mentorship and support are provided within a collaborative, progressive, and professional team environment. This opportunity allows for exposure to all aspects of dentistry and provides a platform for skill development and professional growth.

-The role includes periodic travel to beautiful, remote northern communities across the Northwest Territories, providing unique opportunities to deliver essential dental care in diverse settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) Program from an accredited school or university program, OR successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) equivalency process.
  • Registered and licensed or eligible for licensure with the territorial regulatory body in the Norwest Territories.

Job Details:

- Full-time, permanent, with a fixed-term contract of 24 months

- Schedule includes 8-hour day and night shifts
