Full job description

Signature Support Services provides support to people with developmental disabilities in their Residential and Day Programs. We currently have the following position open in one of our Day Program settings:

Full Time Disability Service Practitioner

In this role, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them achieve their personal goals and desired outcomes. You will assist with various activities that promote personal development, including socialization, education, life skills, pre-employment readiness, volunteer opportunities, and recreational activities.

The successful candidate will be committed to delivering services that respect and promote individuals' rights and responsibilities while ensuring quality service delivery.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Educational background (Degree or Diploma) or three-plus years relevant experience in the Human Service Field
  • Proficient Computer Skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, written, and spoken English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong ability to motivate and inspire others while providing an outgoing, creative environment
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Class 5 driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
  • Good physical and mental health

Pay Range: $44,138– $50,649plus a 2% RRSP benefit.

Hours: 8:30 – 4:30, Monday to Friday

This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.
