Job Title: Barn Hand
Location: Solace Stables - Headingley, MB
Employment Type: Part-time, Weekends

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-time Barn Hand to join our team. This position involves hands-on work with horses and requires dedication to the care and upkeep of the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Mucking stalls and maintaining clean, comfortable environments for horses
  • Feeding and watering horses according to established schedules
  • Ensuring overall facility cleanliness, including sweeping, organizing, and disinfecting areas
  • Assisting with general maintenance tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding, outdoor environment
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License
  • Prior barn or animal care experience preferred
  • Experience with general maintenance or farm equipment is considered an asset
