About the Role

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Director, Private Capital Markets to lead fundraising efforts across our private investment strategies. This role is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, investment funds, and strategic partners to support the firm’s growth objectives.

The ideal candidate is a strong presenter and relationship builder with a proven ability to close capital commitments and build long-term investor relationships in private markets.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Investor Development

  • Source and secure capital commitments
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective investors
  • Lead investor outreach, meetings, and closing activities

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with HNWIs, family offices, investment funds, and intermediaries
  • Act as the primary point of contact for investors throughout the fundraising lifecycle
  • Coordinate investor communications, reporting, and ongoing engagement

Fundraising Strategy & Marketing

  • Develop and execute capital raising strategies aligned with fund objectives and timelines
  • Collaborate with investment and marketing teams to prepare pitch decks, offering materials, and investor presentations
  • Represent the firm at conferences, roadshows, and industry events

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure all fundraising activities comply with securities regulations and internal compliance policies
  • Coordinate with compliance teams on offering documentation and investor onboarding

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, or business development
  • Demonstrated success raising capital for private funds or projects
  • Strong existing network of investors (HNWIs, family offices, institutional allocators)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • High degree of self-motivation, resilience, and results orientation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field is a plus
  • Experience raising capital
