The Opportunity

EXM is looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Graphic Designer with strong UI/UX capabilities to help shape the next stage of our visual and digital development.

This is a dynamic, multidisciplinary opportunity within a growing company. The successful candidate will work across digital experiences, corporate communications, print, branding and visual media while collaborating directly with senior management and several areas of the business.

We are looking for someone who wants more than a narrowly defined design position: a capable designer prepared to take ownership, explore new ideas and seriously develop alongside the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead graphic-design and UI/UX projects from initial concept through final production.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, responsive layouts, interactive prototypes and polished interfaces in Figma.
  • Develop clear, intuitive visual solutions for complex information and technical subject matter.
  • Create and maintain consistent brand standards and scalable digital design systems.
  • Produce high-quality designs for digital platforms, corporate publications, marketing materials, presentations and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with management, marketing, sales, technical teams and software developers.
  • Prepare accurate, production-ready files for digital and commercial-print applications.
  • Contribute to product visualization, motion graphics, video and other evolving forms of visual communication.
  • Manage multiple projects independently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Help establish stronger design processes, standards and creative direction throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of professional graphic-design experience, including significant UI/UX or digital-product design work.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating published or launched corporate and commercial work.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, design systems, prototyping and developer handoff.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour, visual hierarchy and brand consistency.
  • Practical knowledge of user experience, information architecture, responsive design, usability and accessibility.
  • Ability to simplify technical or complex information through thoughtful design.
  • Experience producing both digital and print-ready work to a professional standard.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and quality control.
  • Ability to accept feedback, defend design decisions thoughtfully and move projects forward.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for major assignments.

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants must provide a professional portfolio demonstrating a combination of relevant work, such as:

  • Corporate or B2B design
  • Websites and responsive digital experiences
  • Software interfaces, dashboards or digital tools
  • Figma prototypes and design systems
  • Branding and visual-identity systems
  • Multi-page publications and print materials
  • Technical or product-focused communication

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Casual dress
  • Dental care
  • Extended health care
  • Life insurance
  • On-site parking
  • Paid time off
  • RRSP match

Experience:

  • Graphic design: 5 years (required)
  • Figma: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person
